What if Jesus was hid from you?

2Cr 4:3 "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:"

This verse caught my eye. It is a shame to think that people would not want to share the wonderful love, hope and joy in Christ. What if someone had kept Him hidden from you? Don't do the easy thing, share the Gospel. Jesus tells us in John 12:26 that, "If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will [my] Father honour. " God honors those that get out in the world and serve Him. People are dying and going to Hell everyday, and there are too many Christians that just sit on their butts and do nothing. It sickens me to think of all the people who are hurting, and feel as though there is no one that is able to help them; God wants to help them.
Rom 10:14 says,"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"

Preacher: (Strongs g2784) used of the public proclamation of the gospel and matters pertaining to it.

Don't let another day end without giving someone the opportunity of salvation.

Ashamed?

As my previous post stated I went in the hospital for 4 days. I was ashamed, of myself, and of my weakness. The Lord tells us that we are not to be ashamed, because we have Jesus in our hearts.
Psa 25:20 "O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee."
Rom 5:5 "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. "
Rom 10:11 "For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. "
It was hard, but when I realized that God had put me in the hospital to not only receive help for myself, but also to help others, I got down on my knees weeping and asked for forgiveness. God did wonderful things during those 4 days. 2Ti 1:12 states that "For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. "
God let this experience be an eye opener, but more importantly a soul opener. I know that God is using me to reach people who are hurting in Leavenworth, KS. I give all the glory to God.
I am now looking to the future, and praying that the Lord will help me to learn His word more each day, 2Ti 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. " I know that it will take work, but I am excited about that, and praise the Lord I can be here today to do this for Him. I will post my journey and share things that God has taught me, and pray that they will be able to help those that will also be able to use them.

"...great things he hath done for you."

1Sa 12:24 "Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great [things] he hath done for you."

I went to the hospital recently for 4 days. At first I was sad and depressed and couldn't understand why God let this happen. Then I prayed, and prayed and prayed... for a very long time. I got up one morning and met a young man who was hurting a lot. Jesus tugged at my heart for this man, but I was scared and walked away. Jesus continued to tug until I had no choice but to talk to him. He accepted Christ an hour later. The Holy Spirit was speaking to this man the whole time. It was so amazing to feel and see God working and using me. Little ole me. Praise the Lord. Then the next day I met a girl who was also hurting a lot. She accepted Christ that day. Then she met a girl that was hurting, God used us both to lead her to Christ. 3 people trusting Christ in 4 days, I never thought I would ever be used in this fashion. God can use anyone to further his work, if we are willing to do it.
I put that verse first not to preach or teach, but because it means so much to me now. I pray that this is an encouragement to all, and a blessing to those who need it. Remember all the things that God has done for you, and talk to those people God asks you to, because you never know how He will use you. Serve God, with all your heart in truth, and He will bless. Praise the Lord for all the great things he has done for me. I pray I never lose sight of that, and that you never lose sight of that either.
